New Cast Iron Radiators, Built to Order

Every one of our new cast iron radiators starts with your room, not a stock size. Pick a model, then choose the height, the number of sections (up to 25, depending on the model) and the finish — and we hand-assemble it to order at our Stockport workshop. Each one is supplied with ½” BSP bottom bushes unless you ask for something different.
Column or Ornate — Which Suits Your Room?
Column radiators are the versatile choice. Slimmer profiles fit hallways and the space beneath a window, while the deeper column models put out more heat for living rooms and larger, high-ceilinged spaces. Ornate radiators carry Victorian and Edwardian detailing and become a period feature in their own right. Whichever style you prefer, work out each room’s heat requirement first, then match it to the output listed on the product page.
Sized Properly — Including for Heat Pumps
Every radiator lists its BS EN 442 heat output at both T50 and T30, so you can size for a boiler or a lower-temperature heat pump with real numbers. Cast iron’s thermal mass, large water content and generous surface area suit the steady, lower-temperature running a heat pump delivers. Our free BTU calculator works out what each room needs, and our heat pump guide explains the T30 figure.
Finished in the Colour You Choose
Your radiator arrives in the finish you select at order — our Classic colours, the Signature collection, any RAL or designer shade, bespoke metals or hand-polished. Classic colours come in eggshell, while Signature colours offer a choice of matte, eggshell or gloss. See them all on our finishes page.
How Ordering Works
Ordering new cast iron radiators online takes a few minutes. Choose a model, then use the configurator on its page to set the height, the number of sections and the finish — the price updates as you build it. Once your order is in, we hand-assemble the radiator to your specification at our Stockport workshop. Not sure which size or finish to go for? Get in touch and we’ll talk it through with you.

FAQs About New Cast Iron Radiators
How long do new cast iron radiators take?
Typically four to six weeks, depending on the model and stock. We give you an estimated completion date as soon as your radiator starts through the workshop.
Can I choose the exact size?
Yes. Set the height and the number of sections in the configurator on each product page — up to 25 sections, depending on the model — and we build your radiator to that size.
How do I know what size radiator I need?
Work out each room’s heat requirement with our free BTU calculator, then choose a height and section count whose listed output meets it. If you’re unsure, get in touch and we’ll help you choose.
Are cast iron radiators suitable for heat pumps?
Yes — size them for the lower flow temperature. Every radiator lists its BS EN 442 output at T30 as well as T50, and our heat pump guide explains how to use the figure.
What valves and fittings do I need?
Your radiator comes with ½” BSP bottom bushes unless you ask for something different, so it’s ready for modern systems and TRVs. Traditional valves, wall stays and fittings to match are on our accessories page.
Do you deliver?
Yes, UK-wide. Delivery is calculated at checkout by the size and weight of your order, and orders over £1,500 qualify for free UK mainland delivery.
What guarantee do new radiators come with?
Every new radiator is covered by our 25-year Cast Iron Guarantee — a structural warranty from the date of delivery. Full details are on our warranty page.
What’s the difference between new and restored radiators?
New radiators are built to order to your size and finish. Restored radiators are genuine period originals, salvaged and restored to order in the same Stockport workshop. Both are finished by hand in the colour you choose.
