1. Pre-sales
Pricing
Where pricing is shown on the website or in the Company’s literature, it is inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) charged at the prevailing UK rate, currently 20%.
Ownership of goods
All goods remain the property of the Company until paid for in full. No financial offset against the value of goods supplied is permitted for whatever reason without the written agreement of the Company.
Quotes
Prices quoted for the purchase of goods or labour from the Company are valid for 30 days from the date of the written quote or email.
Dimensions
All our cast iron radiators are hand assembled by specialists at our workshop, and cast iron sections naturally carry small casting variations, so all published dimensions are nominal and the total lengths and widths of assembled radiators can vary slightly. We strongly advise against installing pipework until your radiators have been delivered and positioned in place on site. The Company will not be liable for any damage or losses incurred by the Purchaser or their representatives for installation of pipework prior to the goods being placed in situ. Unless otherwise specifically requested, radiators will be supplied with ½” BSP bottom bushes.
Maximum assembly size
We offer radiators of up to 25 sections, depending on the model. The largest radiators can exceed what can be safely transported or manoeuvred fully assembled — this depends on the model, its weight, and whether it fits on a pallet. Where that applies to your order, we will recommend the best approach at the time of order, which may include delivery in sections with assembly arranged on site, and we will always agree the arrangements with you before dispatch.
Finishes
Radiators are supplied in the finish selected at the time of order. For painted goods, the Company gives no guarantee that the colour will accord precisely with the advertised colour and the Purchaser accepts that there may be minimal differences. The colour and gloss level in any colour or RAL chart must be used only as guidance. Please note that colours presented online will vary between different computers and monitors, and printed colours may vary slightly from the actual paint colour.
Polishing
Polished and natural-metal radiators are supplied with the iron protected by a clear etch anti-corrosive primer and sealed with a protective clear anti-yellowing lacquer, in a gloss or matte finish as selected at the time of order. No oiling routine is required. Clean with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth; abrasive cleaners and metal polishes should not be used, as they can dull the lacquer. There are a number of different types of polished finish available in the UK — if the type of polished finish is of key importance (for example, to match other radiators), please let us know and we will endeavour to meet your requirements. A photo is always the best recourse in these circumstances.
Right of substitution
Should the Company need to substitute any item, it will only do so with goods of an equivalent or better specification and value, and only with the Purchaser’s agreement — if the Purchaser would rather not accept the substitute, they may cancel the affected order and receive a full refund. All specifications are approximate and minor reasonable deviations from them may occur. The price payable for goods is the price ruling at the time the order is placed.
2. Sales
Invoice
It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to check the invoice and ensure that all details on the invoice are correct. The Company will not be held liable for any details that are incorrect if they have not been brought to the attention of the Company prior to the dispatch of goods.
Payment
Payment for goods is in full in advance of delivery unless with the prior agreement of the Company in writing. Where credit or invoice terms have been expressly agreed in writing, the Company reserves the right to charge interest on late payments at the rate of 4% above the current Bank of England base rate (i.e. if the base rate is 5%, the interest levied by the Company would be 9% per annum).
Delivery
Delivery dates are approximate and, although the Company will always do its best to meet them, it does not accept liability for loss caused by delivery delays that are outside its control. Upon request we supply estimated delivery dates. Purchasers are usually notified of confirmed delivery dates 2–3 days prior to dispatch. The Company will endeavour to meet any special shipping requirements as a courtesy, but cannot guarantee them. We strongly recommend not booking plumbers or heating engineers until your goods have arrived and been unpacked and inspected on site; to the extent permitted by law, the Company accepts no liability for third-party call-out or cancellation charges arising from delivery delays. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to receive goods within a reasonable time.
Shipping
Radiators will be shipped by a pallet forwarding network using an HGV. When shipped using this method the haulage company will attempt to deliver pallets as close as possible to the Purchaser’s required position, usually to the closest hard-standing area. The haulage company is under no obligation to remove items from the pallet, nor carry items into the Purchaser’s property. The Purchaser should warn the Company if there is restricted access, or soft or gravelled driveways. Should the Company not be notified in advance of any restrictions in delivery access, or should the Purchaser or their representatives not be present to sign for the goods, the Company reserves the right to charge a re-delivery fee should re-delivery be necessary. Cast iron radiators are very heavy — please ensure that either sufficient manpower or lifting gear is available to unload the pallet. For timed and/or Saturday deliveries the haulage company levies additional charges; please contact the Company for details. Small items will be shipped by Royal Mail. The Company will not be held responsible for any failure of the pallet forwarding network or Royal Mail to deliver within any specified period. See our Deliveries & Collections page for full practical details.
Acceptance of deliveries
Please ensure that goods are unpacked when they are delivered and checked against the delivery note, and note any visible damage with the driver where possible. Please report goods damaged in transit as soon as reasonably possible — ideally within 3 days of delivery — so we can put things right quickly with the courier. Prompt reporting is a practical request, not a deadline: it does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty or damaged goods, including your 30-day right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The Company cannot be held responsible for damage occurring after delivery.
Back orders
Should any item requested by the Purchaser be on back order, the Company will endeavour to supply such goods as soon as possible. Delays can occur, and the Delivery clause above — including the statement of your statutory rights — applies equally to back-ordered goods.
Force majeure
No responsibility can be accepted by the Company for any failure or delay in performance which is wholly or partially due to an Act of God, war, fire, explosion, riot, civil commotion, restriction by government or other competent authority, strikes, lock-outs, failure in supplies, or any cause whatsoever beyond its control.

Guarantee
The warranty periods for new radiators, restoration work and accessories are set out on our Warranty page — our Cast Iron Guarantee — and run from the date of delivery. Goods are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects, and restoration work is guaranteed against defects in our workmanship, including the finish we apply. The Company will replace any faulty goods, or remedy any defective restoration work, free of charge within the applicable warranty period, subject to the following conditions:
- The defect is not due to wear and tear, accident, misuse, improper operation or failure due to incorrect installation;
- Where a claim involves removal or refitting of goods at the Purchaser’s property, that labour is arranged and paid for by the Purchaser (see our Warranty page);
- Proof of purchase is available;
- Stripping, re-coating or powder coating of radiators by the Purchaser or their agents invalidates the guarantee, as the Company has no control over the processes used — powder coating in particular is oven-cured at temperatures that damage the seals;
- The Company reserves the right to change only the defective section of a sectional radiator;
- Consequential loss — to the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused directly or indirectly by any defect in its goods;
- The benefit of this warranty is given to the first retail purchaser of the goods and is not assignable.
Radrestore reserves the right to give a refund of the cost of the goods or restoration work instead of replacing, repairing or remedying them. Such a refund would be given after the goods have been returned to Radrestore’s Stockport workshop.
This guarantee is in addition to, and does not affect, your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — it never reduces them.
Online orders — your right to cancel
If you buy goods from us online as a consumer, you have the right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel your order within 14 days of the day the goods are delivered (or, if your order arrives in more than one delivery, the day the last of the goods is delivered), without giving a reason. To cancel, just tell us clearly before the period ends — email to [email protected] is easiest, or call 0161 843 8163 — and return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us. Unless the goods are faulty, you are responsible for the cost of returning them. Radiators cannot normally be returned by post — return is by courier or pallet carrier, which typically costs between £75 and £150 depending on size and location, or we can arrange the return for you at your cost. We may reduce your refund to reflect any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods (broadly, the sort of handling you could do in a shop). We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or of you providing proof of return), including the cost of standard delivery (but not premium, timed or Saturday delivery upgrades).
This cancellation right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised — for radiators, that means those we build or assemble to order in your chosen size, configuration and finish, rather than standard items sold from stock. If you are not sure whether an order counts as made-to-order, just ask before you buy.
Restoration of your own radiators is a service. If you order restoration at a distance (online, by email or by phone), you may cancel within 14 days of the day you place your order. Paying your deposit is your express request for us to begin work within that period — it is the point at which we book your workshop slot and materials. You will lose the right to cancel once the work is complete, and if you cancel after work has started you will pay for the work done up to that point and be refunded the rest.
Separately from, and in addition to, these legal rights: the Company’s own returns policy allows the return of any goods — including radiators built or assembled to order — within 30 days of delivery, on the terms set out in the Returns policy clause below.
Model cancellation form (optional — any clear statement works): To Radrestore, Unit 8, Station Road Industrial Estate, Reddish, Stockport SK5 6ND ([email protected]): I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the sale of the following goods / supply of the following service: [description]. Ordered on / received on: [date]. Name and address of consumer: [name, address]. Signature (only if this form is notified on paper) and date.
Returns policy
Beyond the cancellation rights above, the Company will accept the return of non-faulty goods within 30 days of delivery, as long as the goods are unused and in the same condition in which they left its warehouse. For standard items sold from stock, the price paid for the item will be refunded in full, with the cost of returning the goods borne by the Purchaser. For radiators built or assembled to order, a refund of the cost of the radiator(s), valued as supplied in a Classic finish, will be given, subject to a 30% restocking charge and the cost of returning the goods; the additional cost of any finish beyond Classic — Signature, Bespoke or Custom — is non-refundable. Refunds under this policy are made within 30 days of the return of the goods. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and — for online orders — the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Complaints
The Company prides itself on the provision of first-rate customer service; however, in the unlikely event that you have a complaint, please set out the grounds to us in writing as soon as possible — ideally within 7 days — and we will ensure it is dealt with sensitively and in a timely fashion. This clause covers general service complaints: faulty or damaged goods are dealt with under the Guarantee, delivery and cancellation provisions above, and nothing in this clause limits your statutory rights.
4. Legal
UK law
These terms and conditions and any contract formed are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also rely on any mandatory consumer protections, and on the courts, of the part of the UK in which you live. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer, and nothing in them excludes or limits the Company’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. In these terms and conditions, ‘the Company’ refers to Radrestore Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 10076783, VAT registration no. GB 246 0498 00), ‘Purchaser’ refers to the purchaser of any goods or services, and ‘goods’ refers to any item sold by the Company. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall be deemed to create a partnership, agency or other relationship between the Company and any supplier or purchaser of the Company’s products or services without the express written permission of the Company.

By using the Company’s website you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, you may not use the website.

Nothing in this clause excludes or limits any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Web-based orders are processed through a secure, SSL-encrypted payment system. Card details are encrypted in transit and the Company holds no card details after the order has been successfully placed.
Privacy
The Company respects the privacy of its customers and the users of its website. Personal details are never sold, and are only shared with third parties as set out in our Privacy Policy — where necessary to deliver our goods and services, or where the law requires.
