The Windsor TRV Set
The Windsor TRV is a traditional thermostatic radiator valve: the classic column-and-globe pattern with a solid wood wheel over the sensing head, supplied with a matching lockshield in eight finishes.
What it does
- Room-by-room temperature control: the thermostatic head senses air temperature and opens or throttles the radiator automatically — set it once and the room holds steady.
- Angled bodies: made for the classic cast iron installation, where pipework rises from the floor and turns into the radiator’s bottom connections.
A thermostat that doesn’t look like one
Most TRVs announce themselves — a white plastic cylinder stuck on a period radiator. The Windsor hides its thermostatics under a turned wood wheel and a traditional body, so the radiator keeps its period face while the room quietly holds its temperature.
What’s in the set
- Thermostatic valve with wood-topped sensing head, for the flow side.
- Matching lockshield valve for the return side.
- Eight finishes: Antique Brass, Black Nickel, Chrome, Natural Brass, Natural Pewter, Polished Brass, Polished Nickel and Satin Nickel — with matching pipe kits and wall stays available separately in the same finishes. Suits the ½” BSP bottom bushes our cast iron radiators are supplied with.
