The Windsor Manual Radiator Valve Set
The Windsor manual radiator valve is our traditional pattern: a classic column-and-globe body topped with a solid wood handle, supplied as a full set — valve plus matching lockshield — in eight finishes.
What it does
- Simple, positive control: turn the wood handle to open or close the radiator; the matching lockshield on the return side sets the balance and keeps its setting.
- Angled bodies: made for the classic cast iron installation, where pipework rises from the floor and turns into the radiator’s bottom connections.
The wood-handle detail
Valves are one of the few parts of a radiator people actually touch. The Windsor’s handle is turned from solid wood in a dark finish — warmer in the hand and in the eye than plated metal, and true to how period radiator valves were made.

- Eight finishes: Antique Brass, Black Nickel, Chrome, Natural Brass, Natural Pewter, Polished Brass, Polished Nickel and Satin Nickel — with matching pipe kits and wall stays available separately in the same finishes. Suits the ½” BSP bottom bushes our cast iron radiators are supplied with.
