The Steel Wall Stay
The Steel wall stay is the workhorse of our stay range: a straight, fully threaded steel stay that ties a floor-standing cast iron radiator back to the wall, so it stays put if it’s knocked.
What it does
- Steadies the radiator: cast iron radiators stand on their own feet — the stay anchors the radiator back to the wall and takes out any movement.
- Adjusts to your installation: the stay is threaded along its full length, so it sets to the exact gap between radiator and wall.
When to choose steel
Fitted behind the radiator, a stay all but disappears — and when it will never be seen, plain bright steel does the job. If yours will catch the eye, or you want it to match your valves, choose the Classic or Whitworth wall stay, made in the same finishes as our valve sets.
