Most of what we sell is built or restored to your order — our radiators to go are the exception. Every radiator here has already been through the full workshop: stripped back to bare iron, repaired where the iron needed it, rebuilt with new seals, pressure-tested, primed and finished. No build slot, no restoration queue — it’s done, and it’s ready to go.

The makers behind the iron

A reclaimed radiator usually carries its maker with it — the great foundries cast their names and marks straight into the iron. That’s why our ready-to-go radiators are named for their makers — like Crane Ltd of Ipswich, one of the great names of twentieth-century British heating: read the Crane story for who they were, what they built, and how to read the marks in the casting. The building a radiator came out of is usually lost to history; the foundry rarely is.

How quickly can a radiator to go be delivered?

There’s no build slot and no restoration queue, so there’s no wait for the work — only for the pallet to be booked. We confirm the delivery date with you before anything moves.

Are radiators to go guaranteed?

Yes. They’re covered like everything we restore, by our 25-year Cast Iron Guarantee, with a private tracking page for your order.

Can I return a radiator to go?

Yes. Radiators to go are stock items, so you have 30 days from delivery to return one unused, with no restocking fee. In the first 14 days you get a full refund including standard delivery; after that, the price back in full while you cover the return transport.
