Black, Grey or White — the three timeless staples. Right at home in any period property, and never out of place in a modern one.

Our curated collection of more than twenty colours — soft heritage neutrals through to deep, dramatic tones, each one chosen for how it sits on cast iron.
Custom colour match
Got an exact colour to hit? We’ll match your radiator to any RAL reference — or name a shade from Little Greene, Farrow & Ball, Paint & Paper Library, Mylands, Fired Earth, Fenwick & Tilbrook, Graham & Brown or Coat, and we’ll work from that. Colour and gloss charts are a guide only; screens and print vary from the finished paint.

We work with other paint houses too — if the shade you’re after isn’t listed, just ask, or give us the name in the custom colour field when you order.

Natural metals
The first of our two bespoke ranges — a metallic lustre over the cast iron itself, warm golds, coppers and bronzes through to black nickel and deep cobalt. For a radiator that’s meant to be noticed.
Specialist hand polished
The second bespoke range, and the pinnacle of the workshop’s craft — where Radrestore began. Every radiator is stripped back to bare iron and polished entirely by hand: hours of work that can’t be rushed, and a finish no two castings ever wear the same.
Polished radiators are sealed for the long term — a clear etch anti-corrosive primer protects the iron, with a clear anti-yellowing lacquer over the top in gloss or matte, so there’s no oiling routine to keep up.

Can you match a specific colour?
Yes — we can match your radiator to any RAL colour, or work from a named designer shade. Can I see a finish before I order?
You’re welcome to visit our Stockport showroom and see the finishes on real radiators — Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, and weekends by appointment. Or call 0161 843 8163, or message us on WhatsApp, and we’ll talk the colour through with you.
Do polished radiators need oiling or special care?
No. Every polished and natural-metal radiator is sealed with a clear etch anti-corrosive primer and a protective anti-yellowing lacquer — in gloss or matte, your choice at order — so there’s no oiling routine to keep up.
Which sheens do the finishes come in?
Signature colours come in matte, eggshell or gloss, and natural metals in matte or gloss. Classic colours and custom/designer shades are supplied in eggshell — the finish that covers cast iron properly with these paints. RAL matches default to eggshell; ask if you need matte or gloss. Polished radiators are sealed with a clear lacquer in gloss or matte, your choice at order.
Can I have any finish on any radiator?
Yes — every finish here is available on a restoration and on our new cast iron radiators alike. Pick it in the restoration estimator, or choose it on any new radiator.
